Only 1.5 hours away in the North Georgia Mountains, there are rivers to kayak and mountains to climb. Within 4 hours, you can bask on the beach in Savannah.

The city is comprised of charming old neighborhoods. The surrounds offer planned communities with golf courses, lakes and kids activity centers. I sold my first home here in Atlanta in 1983.

Interest rates were 17%. My client was moving from Texas. They were losing money on their sale. Although, like our current market, they were able to purchase at a reasonable price and we found their "perfect home".
